Enjoying Middletown
Nicknamed the “Forest City” in the 1800s because of its tree-lined streets, Middletown, Connecticut exudes the classic charm of a small historic New England city. Located in the center of Connecticut near the crossroads of some of the state’s major highways, it is easy to commute to Wesleyan’s campus from almost anywhere. Bradley International Airport and New Haven’s Union Train Station are both less than a 40-minute drive from Wesleyan’s campus. Both New York City and Boston are about a 2-hour drive away. You can reach the beach in summer or hit the ski slopes in winter in under an hour.
