“Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, ‘Take, eat; this is my body.’ And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you; for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins (Mt 26:26-28).”
The Holy Eucharist is the greatest gift God has given us because it is Christ Jesus Himself, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. The Holy Eucharist is the source and summit of our Catholic faith.
For children who have not been baptized or were baptized in a non-Catholic church and are over the age of 7, they will attend R.C.I.C. or R.C.I.T (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children or Teens).
